Senior Counsel Event: State of the Nation

State of the Nation

Join us for an insightful event as we delve into the shifting global political landscape following the inauguration of President Trump, marking the end of 'the year of elections'. In 2024, new governments emerged in several G7 and G20 countries, while existing leaders faced dwindling support. As we navigate 2025, the Trump Administration is set to introduce significant tax and tariff reforms amidst upcoming elections in Germany and Australia. This all unfolds against a backdrop of economic uncertainty, inflation concerns, and prolonged high interest rates.

David Blackburn, a Partner in Brunswick’s Public Affairs and Regulatory Practice in London, alongside his colleagues, will explore the positioning of the new UK government within this challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical climate. They will evaluate the UK's evolving fiscal, industrial, and trade policies, offering a comprehensive overview of business opportunities and potential areas of concern.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights into the future of global politics and economics.

Join us for this interactive session later in February.
