The start of a new year is an excellent time to revisit your team's performance. Providing feedback is a critical learning and development intervention to enhance performance, yet few people have been taught to do this well. Good performance management may also involve difficult conversations and this interactive session will take a research-based look at what it takes to undertake these well.

Mark Smith, Director of Strategic Markets at ½Û×ÓÊÓÆµ
Mark is the Director of Strategic Markets at ½Û×ÓÊÓÆµ. Mark practised as a lawyer for ten years at national and City law firms and led an international in-house legal team. Alongside his work at ½Û×ÓÊÓÆµ, Mark is a Fellow and Senior Advisor at Judge Business School and a practising executive coach working with law firm management and senior in-house lawyers. Mark holds an MBA, an MSc in behavioural change, a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Organisational Consulting and Systems Psychodynamics.
